Safety is AEROSERVICES S.A.’s prime consideration for all aviation activities related to the Maintenance of Aircraft, Components and Continuing Airworthiness Management of products and services. We are committed to managing these activities proactively and systematically, promoting a positive safety culture throughout the organization, in compliance with the highest applicable standards and regulations set within the Organisation’s Manuals regarding quality, safety, and environment.
Top management identifies and controls processes related to airworthiness, quality and safety of products/services, occupational health and safety, and environmental aspects and impacts, along with requirements for monitoring the efficiency of the established management system. Quality of products and services is an integral part of all company activities within the established processes as per the applicable expositions and manuals.
The scope of the implemented management system is to enhance customer satisfaction within the
philosophy of continuous improvement, in accordance with regulatory, statutory, authority, and any
applicable standards, supplier, and specific customer requirements.
Top management commits to:
a) Comply with all applicable legislation, statutory and national regulations, and adopt practices to improve safety standards.
b) Allocate necessary resources for the sustainment and continuous improvement of operations, ensuring adequate resource allocation for managing safety aspects, identifying hazards, and mitigating risks to as low as reasonably practicable.
c) Apply human factors and human performance principles, considering applicable capabilities and limitations towards safety and efficiency of operations.
d) Enforce safety as a primary responsibility of all managers, ensuring that safety considerations are integral to all managerial decisions and actions.
e) Consistently provide conforming products and services that meet or exceed customer and regulatory requirements.
f) Periodically review the management system for suitability, effectiveness, and improvement, reflecting our commitment to maintain and continuously improve the overall effectiveness of the management system.
g) Establish and review quality and safety objectives (KPIs, targets) that form the basis for safety performance monitoring and measurement. These objectives are communicated throughout the organization and are periodically reviewed to ensure they remain relevant and appropriate.
h) Ensure that no punitive actions will be taken against any employee who discloses any issue, nor will blame be apportioned to individuals for actions, omissions, or decisions commensurate with their experience and training. Information on occurrences will not be used for any purpose other than the maintenance or improvement of aviation safety.
i) Recognize the need for all personnel to cooperate with compliance monitoring and internal investigations to ensure the effectiveness of the safety management system. All personnel are expected to support internal investigations, contributing to the enhancement of safety performance.
j) Manage and mitigate risks associated with business activities in terms of:
• Corporate social responsibility and reputation.
• Ethics and business conduct, adhering to relevant anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws, and respecting human rights.
k) Ensure that the company’s policies are effectively communicated, understood, and followed by all employees, with visible endorsement throughout the organization. Senior management continually promotes the safety policy to all personnel and demonstrates its commitment by providing necessary human and financial resources for its implementation.
Policy and objectives are reviewed on a regular basis to ensure they remain relevant and appropriate, and are communicated to personnel (available to partners, suppliers, contracted organisations, and customers upon request), all being involved and having a common task towards safety.
